George Robertson, Class of ‘05
George Robertson graduated from Davidson Fine Arts School in 2005. He began at Davidson in the fifth grade as a vocal music and piano student, but ultimately excelled in band/percussion and ceramics by the end of his high school career. George attended the University of Georgia where he graduated manga cum laude, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management. After college, George worked as a trainmaster for Norfolk Southern Corporation in Knoxville, Tennessee. In 2014, George graduated from Washington and Lee University School of Law in Lexington, Virginia, where he was the President of his class. George returned to Augusta and now works as an attorney at Hull Barrett, P.C. where he is licensed in Georgia and South Carolina. George is an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scout of America, an avid marathoner and and serves as a co-founder, President and Chairman of the Davidson Fine Arts Alumni Association.
Takisha Burke, Class of ‘03
Davidson Fine Arts School 2003 graduate Takisha Burke is a creative, outgoing community builder focused on outreach. After studying music, art and dance at DFA, she attended Berea College where she studied history and earned a Bachelor of Art. Takisha is a co-founder and Secretary for the Davidson Fine Arts Alumni Association.
Heard Robertson, Class of ‘97
Heard Robertson is the owner of Robertson Restoration, LLC, a licensed general contractor specializing in restoration of historic buildings and woodwork installation, and a 1997 graduate of Davidson Fine Arts School. While at DFA, he took advantage of the wide range of arts programs, studying vocal music, theatre, photography, piano and guitar. Heard continued his education, earning a Bachelor of Science in management from Georgia Tech and a MBA from the University of Georgia. He is currently married to his class of 1997 classmate, Martha Craig Robertson. They have four children, the oldest of whom is a 6th grader at DFA. Head is a co-founder and Treasurer for the Davidson Fine Arts Alumni Association.
Michele Guilford, Class of ‘93
Michele Guilford, a seasoned integrated marketing specialist, graduated from Davidson Fine Arts School in 1993. She began at Davidson as a vocal music student but quickly developed interest in technical theatre and excelled in French studies and creative writing, serving as editor of the student paper her senior year. She entered Augusta College intent on a music education degree but took time off to participate in a summer stock theatre program in New York. Michele returned to college to study business and marketing, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Avila University. Her career has included time with traditional media companies, public relations firms and in-house marketing departments. Her most recent experience has been developing and implementing digital marketing strategies for nonprofits and lifestyle organizations. Michele recently returned to the CSRA where she has returned to her community roots, volunteering with SCORE and serving as co-founder and Vice President of Communications for the Davidson Fine Arts Alumni Association.
